We first had the pleasure of working with Jeff in early 2020, shortly after purchasing our first home. With 6,000 square feet to paint and a newborn baby arriving amid the onset of COVID, we were under significant pressure to move in quickly. Jeff and his team rose to the occasion with professionalism, warmth, and a level of craftsmanship that blew us away. They were simply incredible.

Fast forward to 2023 – we sold that home and relocated to NYC. We recently purchased our second home in Connecticut and, in an effort to save some money, decided to go a different route by hiring someone through Thumbtack. Big mistake. What was supposed to be a straightforward project-painting and wallpapering a guest room, painting the entryway and stairwell, and prepping/painting four bedrooms-quickly turned into a nightmare. The contractor made endless excuses, subcontracted poorly done work, and left us with a mess. The quality was so bad it brought my wife to tears. At that moment, we asked ourselves the question we should’ve asked from the start: Why didn’t we just call Jeff? So we did-and Jeff, true to form, picked up the phone with his signature positivity and zero judgment. He listened, understood the urgency, and got us on his schedule right away. His team was, once again, spectacular. Yony in particular was a standout-professional, meticulous, and courteous.

The attention to detail and level of care they bring to their work is beyond compare. My wife is incredibly detail-oriented and has an eye that catches even the smallest imperfections-but with Jeff’s team, there was nothing to critique. Just flawless results. We learned an expensive lesson trying to cut corners. From now on, we won’t even consider working with anyone else. Jeff and his team are simply the best-reliable, honest, and unmatched in quality. They did a stunning job painting our kitchen cabinets and family room, which were big jobs with a lot of small details, and Jeff gave us fantastic guidance and ideas when it came to choosing the right color and finishes, and the paint jobs look absolutely flawless. His crew was also so thoughtful and respectful in our space. They were working in our two most high-traffic areas and they were incredibly fast with their work and very accommodating even with our 1-year-old running around. They also put everything back together and in the right place perfectly in the rooms after they finished-it was as if they were never here.

Jeff constantly checked in on the projects and called us regularly to make sure we felt good and didn’t have any questions.
